February 2015 – Within every hard situation there is a beckoning for its conclusion. Some, in a flailing manner throw their hands in the air. Others, fearing for a harder journey become recluse while readying themselves for battle.

Born in a small country town of South Western Australia, new artist Stephen Teckenoff’s “My Everyday” is a journey through the psyche of a modern man struggling with the pressures of the everyday world. Already heralded as a local storyteller the blue eyed often quiet and humbly presented musician becomes alive on stage, whether it be solely with a guitar or full ensemble. His debut single “Almost Home” was recently heralded by Melbourne blog and talent scout “Spreading the Seed”, labeling him as one to watch for 2015.

“My Everyday” is no exception. Recorded locally in Perth before being mixed by Stephen himself, the track was then passed onto US based Grammy award winning mastering engineer Bob Ludwig ( Radiohead, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Kiss, U2, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Tool, Pearl Jam) for his final stamp of approval.

“I initially wrote this song while struggling through some low points. The idea was to write a track about life. Sometimes things are not perfect. Sometimes you don’t even want to get out of bed. But if you hang in there things always improve and will be for the better in the end” Stephen Teckenoff

Stephen Teckenoff’s latest single “My Everyday” will be released independently and available through all good music stores on February 12Th 2015.
